And if she answers wif nightspot musik in the background, "kawan aku hepi birthday"

Final word. Dun dig a hole yourself and jump into it. You can get her outta ayam joint, but you're unable to get the ayam mentally outta her. Majority are in this line not becos of family. Most are cheated into this line by agent/bf. Once they're in, they become plain lazy.

I know a billing clerk in Batam when tried to come to Singapore was turned back as her name is Abby (too short) and no family name. She said she needs to have $500 on her minimum and needs ICA to call her friend/ hotel to firm up her story.
She said she is used to it and always kena detained during immigration checks.

Generally, indonesians cewek do not use the western naming practice of a first name and a family last name.

Majority of the javanese cewek only have one name and do not have family names.
(except minority of them have family name).

However, with the name listed, you are able to tell whether he/she is a javanese, sundanese, minangkabau, etc. for example those name with su or soe are likely to be javanese like suharto, sukarno, susilo (SBY), susanti, etc. (All indonesian presidents are javanese except Habibie)

Therefore majority of the Javanese cewek will only have their first name with no family name reflected in their passport and Kartu Tanda Penduduk or KTP (pronounce as car tay pay) (indonesian ic).

Yes. Is due to the intervention of MAS. So strengthening of S$ is not a permanent phenomena. It also indirect hurt the exporters, imo.
